About The Position

The Associate Account Sales Executive creates business relationships and increases incremental revenue selling our CRM software to CDK clients through face-to-face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products to grow CDK’s share of wallet in existing client base. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-2 years of B2B selling experience
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Automotive retail experience
  • Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution
  • Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client
  • Experience with developing and managing a sales territory
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Must currently live in territory (Long Island, NJ and CT)

Responsibilities

  • Under guidance provided from Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota
  • Identify CRM opportunities with existing customers
  • Grow and maintain existing accounts
  • Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach
  • Under the direction of Director of Sales, develop an overall sales plan and forecast short and long-term sales results
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of specific CDK products and their functionality
  • Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
  • Gain an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments in the market and/or territory
  • Focus on consultative relationship with the client by developing an understanding of their unique business needs and working with the Director of Sales to bring forth integrated solutions
  • Escalate customer concerns/issues for a timely and appropriate resolution for the customer and company
