Associate Account Manager, Personal Lines
About The Position
The Partners Group (TPG) is seeking an Associate Account Manager for their Personal Lines team in Renton, WA. This role involves delivering responsive and knowledgeable service to Personal Lines clients, acting as a primary point of contact, coordinating policy changes, answering coverage questions, and supporting claims and remarketing activities. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, collaborative, and motivated to learn and grow within the insurance industry. The role contributes to client retention and strengthens long-term relationships, allowing Personal Insurance Advisors to focus on strategic client needs and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
- 5+ years of customer service experience, including 3+ years in an independent insurance agency
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and carrier systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AMS360 (or other agency management systems)
- Experience with PL Rater (preferred)
- Familiarity with leading personal lines carriers such as Safeco, Chubb, Travelers, Progressive, or PURE.
- Experience providing coverage guidance and processing policy changes directly with carriers.
- A collaborative, positive approach and a desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Manage policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage questions for assigned clients
- Quote new business and additional coverage lines
- Review policies and endorsements for accuracy
- Complete remarketing activities to maintain competitive coverage
- Partner with advisors and teammates to support client needs
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
