About The Position

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. This position is in our Food Manufacturing Business where we are committed to serving and partnering with new and existing customers. Our portfolio of products includes beef, egg, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, texturizers, cocoa and chocolate. In this role, the Associate Account Manager will develop the ability to assess customer needs to suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improve profitability. You will develop ways to nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, implement business plans, and increase sales and revenue.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 20%
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships to sell products, provide quotes within pricing function guidelines.
• Assist in the development of customer sales strategies to meet customer goals and objectives.
• Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and collaborate with the team on strategy and pricing functions.
• Partner with the team to manage and coordinate contracts, resolve claims and disputes.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Deliver on growth targets as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.
