About The Position

The Associate Account Manager (AAM) role at PulsePoint is an entry-level position within the client services team, focusing on a technically demanding, post-sales environment. AAMs will learn the complete campaign lifecycle from start to finish. The goal is for each AAM to eventually own client accounts, with the timing dependent on individual readiness and business needs. The "Rocket Program" is a structured development track designed to prepare AAMs for this transition. In the interim, AAMs will support experienced Account Managers with operational tasks and may engage in client-facing work. The overarching mission of the Account Management team is to ensure the long-term success of customers through exceptional service at every interaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in an Account Management, Campaign Management, Customer Success, or digital media role.
  • Prior roles such as Sales Planner, Account Coordinator, or Client Services Manager at a digital vendor or media agency are a strong fit.
  • BA/BS in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Some exposure to programmatic advertising: DSP platforms (TTD, DCM/CM360), verification tools (DoubleVerify, IAS), or insertion order management.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics.
  • Eagerness to develop technical fluency in tagging, pixel implementation, and data troubleshooting on the job.
  • Eager to learn: ready to absorb, ask questions, and grow fast.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills across multiple workstreams.
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex topics for different audiences.
  • Resourceful and independent: find answers before asking and come with solutions, not just problems.
  • Collaborative by default: thrive working across teams and functions.
  • Curiosity about AI: actively exploring how AI tools can make you more effective and eager to bring that mindset into a fast-moving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort working in Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
  • Healthcare/pharma industry experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers in day-to-day client communication and post-sale requests.
  • Participate in client kick-off calls, campaign check-ins, and business reviews, gradually taking a lead role.
  • Proactively identify client needs and propose tailored recommendations for campaign success.
  • Take on direct client ownership as readiness and business needs align.
  • Assist with pixel coordination, asset gathering, and campaign launch checklists.
  • Partner with Campaign Management and Platform Solutions to monitor delivery, pacing, and performance against client KPIs.
  • Support monthly campaign and Salesforce audits, including QA of 1P and 3P delivery, restriction compliance, and data accuracy.
  • Learn to identify and communicate platform, reporting, and data discrepancies to internal teams and clients.
  • Assist in generating and scheduling campaign and NPI-level reporting per client requirements.
  • Develop the ability to troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and escalate with context.
  • Support monthly billing workflows, including pulling delivery data and reconciling against IOs.
  • Learn Salesforce opportunity and line item management.
  • Assist with DUAs, FIAs, TPAs, and legal paperwork as needed.
  • Sit embedded with Campaign Management, Platform Solutions, Data Analytics, and Operations to understand their contributions to campaign success.
  • Participate in product release testing and provide client feedback via BRAIN tickets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the PulsePoint product suite to support upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
