About The Position

The Associate Inventory Analyst supports inventory accuracy, availability, and control across the supply chain by monitoring stock levels, analyzing inventory trends, and helping resolve discrepancies. This role works closely with operations, planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment, optimize inventory performance, and maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies. The Associate Inventory Analyst also assists with reporting, data validation, and process improvements to help minimize excess inventory, reduce shortages, and support efficient business operations.

  • The employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
  • The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
  • Roles below the Principal level require candidates to possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.

  • Ability to analyze excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and recommend corrective actions
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement exposure
  • Experience in regulated or manufacturing environments (e.g., medical devices, pharma)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
