The Associate Director of Athletics Communications serves as the primary communications representative for Miami Hurricanes Volleyball and Men's & Women's Tennis. This role involves writing recaps and releases, acting as a media liaison, managing statistics and archives, overseeing press operations, submitting award nominations, editing publications, updating the official website, creating social media content, and managing social media channels. Additionally, the position acts as a secondary representative for Miami Hurricanes Men's Basketball, handling media relations, interviews, press releases, printed materials, gameday operations, and social media management. The role may also manage the credential process for ticketed sports and oversee press box operations. A key responsibility includes maintaining compliance with NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference, institutional, and departmental rules, as well as ensuring internal controls and University policies are followed. All other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Communications are also part of this role.
