About The Position

Join our company, a leading research-driven biopharmaceutical organization focused on discovering, developing, and delivering innovative medicines and vaccines that improve and save lives worldwide. We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Hematology Marketing. This position will require outstanding leadership including strategic planning, scientific data analysis, counter-competition, cross-functional collaboration. One of the key responsibilities of this role will include support the launch of a broadening hematology portfolio with 5 potential assets across MPNs, Lymphoma, and Leukemia.

Requirements

  • 5 years of pharmaceutical or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of relevant hematology experience and external relationships
  • Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Healthcare Provider promotion experience bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review
  • Strong scientific acumen and ability to engage with high scientific fluency

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
  • Core marketing experience including strategy development & competitive planning
  • Experience leading marketing scientific strategy

Responsibilities

  • Establish and build strong relationships with hematology scientific leaders and key stakeholders
  • Provide input into Hematology portfolio marketing direction and strategic choices
  • Define brand priorities and establish best practices for scientific education and advocacy
  • Manage the hematology external speaker bureaus and speaker training
  • Leading the development, evolution, and execution for the scientific competitive plans, driving innovative ways to help disseminate brand messages as part of the scientific exchange
  • Provide marketing viewpoint as well as collaborating with Global Medical Affairs to create a network of external thought leaders and conduct advisory board meetings
  • Speaker training forums and symposia, and building personal and direct rapport and advocacy
  • Drive the evaluation and interpretation of external data, publications and their impact on future treatment algorithms, as well as potential impact on guidelines and pathways.
  • Build an internal network to discuss key scientific issues and share best practices – collaborate with clinical research, medical affairs and other teams as required
  • Develop an annual budget for the segment and track expenses through the year
  • Working with Health Economics and Access teams to support needs including provision of models, analytical support, value dossier, etc.
  • Lead the Medical Education Strategy for the hematology portfolio
  • Lead planning for national-level U.S. Exhibits and Conventions for Bladder Cancer Portfolio
