The position will own end-to-end procurement for the Mods & Upgrades business across CSA — category strategy, sourcing, supplier performance, parts availability, product data and cost — and be accountable for cost and on-time delivery. The Role Purpose is to build and lead the dedicated MAU procurement organization, including Category Managers and Category Specialists, with shared PDM and Should-Cost COE support. This role will own category strategy and should-cost for 3rd-party equipment and materials such as pumps, cooling towers, fans, valves, controls/BMS, electrical, and balance-of-plant. The individual will negotiate supplier alliances and rate cards, set make/buy and dual-source strategies, and govern the Approved Vendor List (AVL) while standardizing 3rd-party offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business
  • 10+ years of progressive procurement / supply-chain experience, including direct people leadership and building or scaling a team.
  • 10+ years' experience with proven category management and strategic sourcing of engineered or 3rd-party equipment (e.g., pumps, towers, valves, controls) and/or HVAC components.
  • 10+ years' experience Track record of delivering measurable savings on $100M+ of category spend, with strong should-cost and negotiation capability.
  • 10+ years' experience with sourcing and managing subcontracted services or project-based procurement.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred HVAC, aftermarket/services or capital-equipment background; exposure to the data-center cooling segment.
  • Familiarity with PFEP, Kraljic segmentation, supplier-alliance programs, and M&A / synergy capture.
  • MBA or equivalent; Lean / Six Sigma certification.
