We’re seeking compassionate Assistive Technology Specialists to support students with diverse learning needs by identifying and implementing technology solutions that promote independence and educational success. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Engineering, Educational Technology, Assistive Technology, or a related field
• Current professional license or certification appropriate to discipline, when applicable
• Experience conducting Assistive Technology evaluations in educational settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducting Assistive Technology evaluations and developing recommendations
• Collaborating with IEP teams to identify appropriate assistive technology supports and services
• Recommending, implementing, and customizing assistive technology devices and software
• Training students, school staff, and families on the effective use of assistive technology
• Monitoring student progress and modifying recommendations as needed
• Completing documentation, evaluation reports, and service records
• Consulting and collaborating with teachers, therapists, psychologists, and other educational professionals
• Staying current on assistive technology best practices, accessibility tools, and educational technology
