About The Position

The Waterford at Decatur, a 60-apartment memory care senior living community in the Decatur, GA area, is seeking a dedicated RN, LPN, or LVN nurse director. This role focuses on enhancing the lives of seniors and guiding a team that delivers personalized care. The position includes a wellness coordinator to assist with daily operations of the nursing department. The community utilizes cutting-edge technology such as SafelyYou for fall detection, Advanced EHR Technologies for automated care assessments, Sage for call light response, and Microsoft Power BI for data needs.

Requirements

Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
