About The Position

Mirabella Seattle is seeking our next dynamic Assisted Living Manager to oversee all operations in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Departments! Mirabella Seattle, a part of Pacific Retirement Services, is a beautiful not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in the heart of downtown Seattle. We have a bright, modern, and clean environment with updated equipment and resources. Outside of our SNF and AL floors, Mirabella is home to more than 290 IL residents who enjoy a high-end resort style living experience. Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm) Compensation: $80,000-$87,000/year DOE

Requirements

  • WA State AL Administrators License (Washington State Assisted Living Administrator Licensed).
  • 3-5 Years of experience in a nursing home, residential living, or retirement community in a similar role.
  • Must possess working knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding the operation of an assisted living and home care as well as OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and direct department resources to include but not limited to personnel management, budgets, scheduling, recording keeping, equipment/machinery and other management functions. Department Managers reporting to this position include but not limited to: Assisted Living Nurse Manager, Home Care Manager, and Memory Care Program Coordinator
  • Oversee resident care plans and negotiated service agreements as needed and interact with other involved managers
  • Develop methods for coordination of resident services with other departments to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regiment of care
  • Participate in top level management meetings
  • Serves on and/or participates in various committees of the facility
  • Interact with outside agencies to include governmental agencies and third party payers
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with the medical profession and other health related facilities and organizations
  • Maintain open communications and excellent working relationships with residents and their families
  • Schedule and direct departmental meetings
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal regulations, standards and guidelines applicable to the Mirabella Seattle; ensures that employees are knowledgeable of pertinent and current information
  • Ensures resident rights are well established and adhered to
  • Annually prepare departmental budget and ensure department budget objectives are achieved by monitoring overtime (staff and outside vendors) and other monetary expenses
  • Ensure that each resident receives the necessary nursing, medical an psychosocial services to attain and maintain the highest level possible mental and physical functions status
  • As needed, communicate with residents and/or families in order to resolve problems/complaints in a timely manner that facilitates a high level of resident care
