About The Position

Aberdeen Ridge is a new senior living community in Colorado Springs, offering a fresh perspective on senior living rooted in Christian values and service to older adults of all faiths. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to actively participate in the lives of our residents and their families, providing the best quality of life and care. The LPN is responsible for direct nursing care and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained and reflecting a resident-first philosophy.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
I.V. Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Providing direct nursing care to residents.
Supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Reflecting the value that the resident comes first.
Valuing the Community as the residents’ home and working to create attributes of home and modeling person-centered care.
