About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Assisted Living CNA with Medtech requirements, working the 3p to 11p shift, including every other weekend. The role involves assisting residents with their daily living activities, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment, monitoring vital signs, and documenting observations. The position requires adherence to infection control measures and safety precautions. The CNA will also assist with resident activities and may perform other duties as assigned. Applicants should be aware of Florida background screening requirements.

Requirements

• Medtech Required
• Ability to comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment.
• Ability to document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control measures.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.
• Ensure beds are made, trash has been removed from the room, meals are served to residents, and maintain a high level of hygiene in the room.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Make routine and frequent rounds and ensure safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
• Avoid development of skin problems or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning residents that need assistance.
• Assist the Activities Dept with Activities for the residents.
