About The Position

This is a part-time position for an Assisted Living CNA with Medtech requirements, working from 7 AM to 3 PM. The role involves assisting residents with their daily living activities, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment, monitoring vital signs, and documenting observations. The position requires compliance with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines of Westminster and its communities. The CNA will also be responsible for infection prevention, making routine rounds to ensure safety, and assisting with resident activities. Requirements

• Medtech Required
• Must be able to work part-time, 7 AM to 3 PM.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Make routine and frequent rounds and ensure those safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
• Avoid development of skin problems or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning residents that need assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.
• Ensure beds are made, trash is removed from rooms, meals are served to residents, and maintain a high level of hygiene in the room.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Make routine and frequent rounds and ensure safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
• Avoid development of skin problems or skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning of residents that need assistance.
• Assist the Activities Dept with Activities for the residents.
