About The Position

PART-TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT at our SEED Program in Mankato, MN. This role involves assisting children with activities under the direction of the Therapist and Counselor in an Early Childhood setting. Responsibilities include providing snacks, assisting with restroom needs, setting up and cleaning up activities. There is a possibility of transportation duties, which include the safe and efficient pick-up and delivery of children participating in our programs, and the safe operation and maintenance of vehicles. The schedule is approximately Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a few additional flexible hours throughout the week for tasks such as cleaning the site for group. This averages 23-24 hours per week.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least five years driving experience, with minimal to no traffic violations.
• Must be able to navigate through communities in which we are operating safely and efficient.
• Ability to program a GPS or read maps accordingly to find correct locations for pick-up and drop off.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure safe operation at all times.

• Educational background or experience working with young children 3-5 years of age.
