About The Position

Lipscomb Academy is seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Wrestling Coach to support and help develop its high school wrestling program in a manner consistent with the academy’s mission. The coach assists with practices and athlete development, supervises student-athletes during practices and competitions, supports team logistics, and helps ensure compliance with athletic association rules and safety guidelines. The role also involves modeling Christ-like behavior and encouraging wrestlers to demonstrate integrity, respect, humility, service, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting daily practices.
• Help develop student-athletes of all experience levels, emphasizing technique and conditioning.
• Supervise athletes at practices, home meets, and away tournaments.
• Support team logistics, including rosters, schedules, and state association requirements.
• Reinforce Lipscomb Academy’s values of discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship.
• Ensure compliance with athletic association rules and safety guidelines.
• Model Christ-like behavior and encourage student wrestlers to demonstrate integrity, respect, humility, service, and sportsmanship in alignment with Lipscomb Academy’s mission.
