About The Position

Union College, a highly selective liberal arts institution located in Schenectady, New York, is accepting applications for the position of part-time temporary Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. The women’s volleyball program is a member of NCAA Division III and the Liberty League. Union College sponsors 27 intercollegiate sports, 25 in Division III, with Men's and Women's Ice Hockey competing at Division I. This position will assist the Head Coach in all phases of the women’s volleyball program, including coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience.
• The ability to recruit within College, NCAA and Liberty League rules.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills needed.
• Candidates must have an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, along with a philosophy compatible with a multi-classified liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards.
• Candidate must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.

Nice To Haves

• Collegiate playing/coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in all phases of the women’s volleyball program (coaching, recruiting and administrative duties).
