About The Position

Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual exempt Assistant Women’s Rugby Coach position to begin in July 2026. The starting Base Annual Salary is approximately $44,948, which is pro-rated based on the contract term. FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• One year of coaching or other related work experience.
• Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.
• Familiarity with the East Coast high school girls’ rugby landscape, including players, programs, and competitive pathways.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coaching and supervision of the Women’s Rugby Team to include practice, gameday activities, budget management, academic monitoring and mentoring of student athletes, and assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
• Conducting their program in accordance with all University System of Maryland, Frostburg State University, NCAA, and Conference Affiliate policies and procedures.
