About The Position

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a focus on safety and process improvement, and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing setting.
Familiar with common office equipment, devices, and processes.

Strong written & verbal communication, organizational, decision-making, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, show initiative, and operate with a sense of urgency.
Working knowledge of Google Applications Suite (Drive, Calendar, G-Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) or similar software.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Manage PPE (hardhats, gloves, safety glasses) and field crew shirts, with input from Safety Manager.
Placard creation for solar electric panels.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and deliveries in warehouse management systems (WMS).
Prepare shipping, receiving, and inventory documents.
Conduct monthly inventory audits and cycle counts.
Support the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics with shipping carriers and delivery drivers.
Generate and distribute internal reports (e.g., inventory status, order tracking).
Maintain organized filing systems for delivery receipts, packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates.
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies within administrative processes
