About The Position

Goddard Public Schools has an opening for a Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking individuals who are committed to teaching and modeling sportsmanship, building school pride, and increasing student and community involvement. The coach is responsible for instructing student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. This role also focuses on providing a positive educational experience that fosters skill development, teamwork, and an appreciation for the sport.

Requirements

  • Valid teaching certification or the ability to obtain Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Rule 10 certification
  • Fundamental knowledge of the assigned sport or activity
  • Ability to utilize a variety of instructional methods to teach sport-specific skills and objectives

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification
