About The Position
St. Theresa Catholic School seeks a responsible, energetic and nurturing individual who has experience in coaching Volleyball. The position will be under the general supervision of the Athletic Director who reports to the School Principal.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to motivate and work effectively with athletes of varying skill levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to demonstrate volleyball skills such as serving, passing, and hitting
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 20 lbs)
- Mature, responsible, energetic and nurturing with excellent interpersonal skills
- Receive a criminal background check clearance
- Be trained and verified in Safe Haven child abuse awareness
- Be committed to the philosophy of Catholic school and value oriented education
