About The Position

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design, implement, test, and support software solutions in production. This role involves developing responsive single-page applications using frontend technologies including Angular Framework, Type Script, HTML, and CSS and integrating client-side components with backend REST APIs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing and developing enterprise server-side applications using Java and object-oriented programming principles
Leveraging Spring and Spring Boot frameworks to build modular and maintainable backend systems
Developing scalable RESTful web services and microservices using Spring-based technologies and service-oriented architecture principles
Applying test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) techniques to improve test coverage and support high-quality software delivery
Performing continuous refactoring to enhance code quality and performance
Designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications in cloud computing environments, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalability, security, and fault tolerance
Building containerized applications using Docker and orchestrating deployments using Kubernetes
Implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments to UAT and production environments
Providing production support by monitoring application behavior, troubleshooting live issues, performing root-cause analysis, and incorporating user feedback to improve system stability and reliability

Responsibilities
