The Business Credit Office provides front-line credit and risk ownership, including writing credit papers, performing credit analysis, modeling projections, and enterprise valuation analysis. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Credit Risk, relationship managers, global partners, and product teams, and delivering sound recommendations based on robust business, relationship, and industry analysis. The position requires expert judgment and adherence to internal credit policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements. As an Assistant Vice President or Vice President, you will deliver the business strategy with strong knowledge of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) priorities, focusing on the Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) sector. You will work with CIB relationship bankers, product partners, and risk stewards to align business strategy with risk appetite. The role involves building strategic relationships with customers, providing value-add advice, and adhering to HSBC policies and control requirements. Employees must ensure all actions consider operational risk, address concerns with relevant colleagues, and implement actions from audits and regulators in a timely fashion.
