The Assistant Vice President, Philanthropic Relations, Mass Eye and Ear is a senior leadership role within the Mass General Brigham’s Development Office. Reporting to an Associate Vice President of Development, the Assistant Vice President is responsible for driving growth and innovation initiatives, programs, and efforts to achieve annual philanthropic revenue goals. This role involves leading frontline or non-frontline fundraising business units, developing strong relationships with organizational leaders, faculty, administrators, and donors, pursuing new philanthropic opportunities, and implementing innovative strategies. The Assistant Vice President will collaborate with peers on strategy, policy, and resource allocation, identify emerging opportunities to drive revenue, and solve organizational challenges. They will also be accountable for the effective management of allocated budgets and adherence to all office-wide and institutional policies regarding gift and campaign counting, expense approval, performance reviews, prospect management, and other operational areas.
