The Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure Services leads and manages the University’s technology infrastructure, including networks, data centers, and other related systems. The incumbent acts as VP in the absence of the CIO in strategic leadership and guidance at the executive level in critical areas of this position’s portfolio. This includes assisting the CIO by chairing or participating in meetings. Direct, plan and implement strategic and tactical enterprise IT initiatives under their purview, focusing on cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and service quality. Serve as a point of escalation for key issues, leading overall strategic planning to achieve organizational goals by prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology projects in the positions’ portfolio. The Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure serves as a member of the Division of Information Technology's (DoIT) Senior Leadership Team which is charged with providing strategic direction and priorities for the Division.
