The Assistant Vice President of Development serves as a senior fundraising professional and strategic partner within the Ivy Tech Foundation. Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy, this position functions as one of the Foundation's lead fundraisers for systemwide initiatives and cross-campus philanthropic opportunities, with primary responsibility for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and principal gift donors. The AVP manages a portfolio of qualified major and principal gift prospects and donors, focused primarily on securing gifts of $100,000 and above. This position develops and executes strategies to secure six- and seven-figure commitments that advance Ivy Tech's statewide priorities, strategic initiatives, workforce development efforts, student success programs, scholarship opportunities, and campaign objectives. Working collaboratively with campus development leaders, Foundation colleagues, College leadership, and volunteer leaders, the AVP advances philanthropic opportunities that transcend individual campuses and require a coordinated, donor-centered approach. The position provides leadership through influence, fundraising expertise, and collaboration while helping create a seamless donor experience across the system.
