WSP is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Geotechnical Engineering Manager for their Louisville, Kentucky office. This leadership role is designed for a seasoned geotechnical professional with strong technical skills, people leadership, business development, and operational management experience. The selected candidate will be instrumental in expanding WSP's geotechnical practice, developing effective teams, nurturing client relationships, and delivering innovative infrastructure solutions for sustained business success. As part of the regional leadership, this individual will contribute to strategy formulation, drive operational excellence, and promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence. The role involves providing subject matter expertise, technical leadership, and strategic direction for multi-site and multi-phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, design, and construction projects for both public and private clients. Responsibilities include research, design, concept development, planning, and construction support for a wide range of infrastructure, including facilities, roads, buildings, tunnels, dams, canals, levees, bridges, water supply systems, underground storage facilities, and wastewater treatment infrastructure. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders is key to delivering resilient infrastructure solutions that support sustainable growth while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, technical excellence, and innovation. As a trusted advisor and leader, this individual will drive project success, mentor junior professionals, lead business growth efforts, and contribute to the ongoing development of WSP's geotechnical practice.
