About The Position

This role is responsible for defining and articulating the long-term corporate applications strategy and technology roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives and IT governance standards. It involves evaluating emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and platform enhancements to inform build-vs.-buy decisions and integration strategies. The position also participates in enterprise IT strategic planning, contributing to short-term and long-term technology roadmaps. The role oversees the design, implementation, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise applications such as Workday, UKG Dimensions/Kronos, financial systems, supply chain, and workforce management. It ensures full and consistent implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements across all corporate platforms, and manages application testing, deployment, and release management processes to ensure reliability and quality. The role also ensures 24/7 operational readiness and maintenance of downtime procedures. Additionally, it leads the day-to-day operations of corporate application systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and service-level compliance. It establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization, and implements ITIL-based quality processes, incident management, and problem management methodologies. The position involves managing, mentoring, and developing a team of directors, managers, technical leads, and application analysts, conducting annual performance evaluations, setting goals, and fostering professional growth and a culture of continuous learning. It drives talent management strategies, maintaining a clear view of upcoming advancements in digital technologies, and building expertise within the team. The role also manages relationships with technology vendors, negotiates software purchases and support agreements, and oversees Statements of Work (SOWs). It serves as a key liaison between senior IT leadership and departmental teams to ensure clear communication and effective implementation of enterprise policies. Furthermore, it manages annual operational and capital budgets for the corporate applications portfolio, monitors fiscal operations, controls expenditures, and ensures cost-effectiveness of application investments. It manages a portfolio of technology investments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality. Requirements
