About The Position

This is a seasonal role for an Assistant Varsity Swim Coach from November 11, 2026, to February 15, 2027. Practices are held 2-3 times per week, Monday through Friday, between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM at Lakewood Country Club. Swim meets are primarily scheduled on weekdays at either 4:00 PM or 7:00 PM. The coach will report to the Athletic Director and is responsible for planning and conducting practices and meets, as well as organizing and maintaining team equipment. Effective communication with student-athletes, families, and the athletic department is expected, along with fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, coaches, and community.
Experience coaching/participating in ice hockey at the high school or collegiate level.
Knowledge of applicable league rules.
Excellent organizational and motivational skills.

Nice To Haves

Playing experience at the high school and/or college level preferred.
