About The Position

Standing Bear High School is seeking an assistant unified bowling coach to provide leadership for the unified bowling program. This position requires a Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit. The ideal candidate will possess good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to develop positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and the community. A comprehensive knowledge of the sport is necessary, along with the ability to enhance the ongoing development and improvement of our traditionally strong program. This position is subject to a veterans preference.

Requirements

• Must hold a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• CPR Certification (LPS offered).
• NFHS Certification in Concussion Awareness.
• NFHS Certification in Heat Illness Awareness.
• NFHS Certification in Sudden Cardiac Awareness.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a teacher and/or coach.
