About The Position

AppleTree Prep Macon is seeking a dependable and positive Assistant Twos Teacher to join their team. This role is crucial in shaping a child's earliest learning experiences by supporting the classroom team in creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment where children can learn and grow. The Assistant Twos Teacher will assist with daily activities, provide active supervision, and help bring the curriculum to life, ensuring a smooth and positive classroom experience. This position offers hands-on classroom experience and opportunities for career growth in early childhood education.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with children, families, and team members.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Nice To Haves

Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.
Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Always provide active supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with required ratios
