About The Position
The Assistant Coach reports directly to the Director of Cross Country, Track & Field and is responsible for working, as directed, towards the execution of a successful Track & Field program. The program operates within the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Director, Athletic Department, and University.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Successful coaching experience required
Responsibilities
- Monitor program lifting sessions
- Assist in the training implementation of our vaulters
- Assist in meet day coaching and logistics
- Maintain practice performance logs for workouts and weightlifting
- Maintain an organized T&F Center, equipment storage facilities
- Home Competition Management
- Recruiting
- Minor Administrative support on any program administrative tasks
- Assist in issuing and organizing Apparel, Practice, and Competition Equipment
