About The Position
The Assistant Track and Field Coach at Antelope High School supports the head coach in developing athletes on and off the track. The coaching philosophy should align with the Inside Out Coaching Initiative. The ideal candidate has experience coaching high school track and field and working with high school students. Requirements
- Current CPR/AED certification; CPR/AED training must be hands-on, as online courses are not accepted.
- Current First Aid card; First Aid training must be hands-on, as online courses are not accepted.
- Coaching certificate.
- NFHS Concussion Certificate.
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate.
- NFHS Heat Illness Certificate.
- Knowledge of adolescent psychology.
- Valid TB test.
- Fingerprint clearance.
- Keenan course completions.
- All other RJUHSD-mandated certificates and coach-clearance certifications and requirements listed on the RJUHSD website.
Nice To Haves
- Experience coaching high school track and field and working with high school students.
- Letter(s) of recommendation (preferred).
