About The Position
Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher for their Clancy, MT location. This role involves working alongside a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers. The position focuses on fostering learning, exploration, confidence, and skill development. No prior childcare experience is necessary, as the company provides paid training and ongoing support.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with toddlers
- Patient, dependable, caring, and positive
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- A strong communicator
- Able to guide children with kindness and consistency
- Interested in early childhood development
- Willing to learn and complete all required Montana licensing training
- CPR Certified (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children
- Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, movement, and hands-on activities
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
- Help children build confidence, independence, and positive relationships with peers
- Assist with meals, naps, toileting, transitions, and other daily routines
- Observe children's development and share important updates with families
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and classroom team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment
- Follow all health, safety, and Montana licensing requirements
