The primary purpose of this job is to assist in the day-to-day functions of human resources, payroll and front office, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Executive Director. Ensure the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times. Conducts pre-employment and background screenings using HireRight and Idaho BCU systems. Conducts onboarding and orientation of all new employees. Assists all new hires with required paperwork and creates personnel and confidential files. Enters all new hires into Workday. Interprets, applies and enforces facility policies and procedures. Maintains and updates human resource records and forms. Maintains employee data in Workday. Ensures timely processing of personnel status changes. Assists with Leave of Absence requests in Workday and Matrix. Assists with Workers Compensation documentation. Assists with duties relative to the facility’s overall payroll function. Serves as the Payroll Representative in the absence of the Business Office Manager. Assists department leaders with monitoring mandatory training compliance. Greets and directs visitors. Answers telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate staff or resident. Takes messages when necessary. Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the office, fax numbers, company websites and other related information. Receive, sort and forward incoming mail. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (Federal Express, UPS, etc.) Order, receive, stock and distribute weekly office supplies. May assist in other clerical duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Business Office Manager.
