About The Position

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Assistant to Course Instructors to join their team. This role involves supplementing a semester-long NYU undergraduate lecture class by conducting a weekly 75-minute recitation session. The position also requires providing student advisement and office hours. The Assistant will perform various managerial, organizational, and instructional tasks as directed by the instructor, including assisting with grading assignments and exams, managing correspondence, tracking attendance, and maintaining the course Blackboard Website. Regular communication with the course instructor, CAMS coordinator, and CAMS Department Director is expected.

Requirements

• Completion of all required credits needed to obtain an undergraduate degree.
• Extensive academic experience in psychology or related areas.
• Substantial knowledge of the subject matter they teach.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced terminal graduate degree (e.g., M.F.A, M.P.H, M.S.W, etc.).
