About The Position

The Assistant TLC Leader's primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of the facilities operations, focusing on the inbound and outbound flow of products with an emphasis on safety and customer service. This role ensures that all company assets are properly protected and that the distribution center maintains a safe, clean working environment, adhering to all corporate operational policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experiences with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management.
  • Experience with KPI management.
  • Supervisor or management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively managing projects and teams.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Experience driving day-to-day operations within a warehouse environment.
  • Logistics excellence.
  • Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance.
  • May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
  • Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Works and operate equipment in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations.
  • Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height, to meet physical compatibility with equipment and safety restraints. (These limitations are based on equipment specifications and the need to ensure safe operation; any reasonable accommodations will be reviewed in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other relevant laws).

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the facilities “back shop” operations.
  • Manages the flow of inbound and outbound products.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Ensures company assets are properly protected.
  • Ensures adherence to all corporate operational policies and procedures.
  • Acts as TLC Manager in his/her absence.
  • Opens/closes facility as required.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested.
