About The Position
The Schaumburg Park District is seeking experienced and organized Assistant Tennis Professionals to work alongside Tennis Professionals at Schaumburg Tennis Plus. The role involves assisting in providing a safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment where participants can develop their tennis skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Substantial knowledge of tennis.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching in a club setting.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to organize and plan time efficiently.
- Must be able to demonstrate a professional and positive attitude while working with patrons, park district staff, and volunteers.
- Ability to complete CPR/AED certification.
Nice To Haves
- High school degree/GED is preferred.
- Experience teaching 10 & Under QuickStart tennis format.
- NTRP rating of 4.5 or better.
Responsibilities
- Assist Tennis Professionals in providing a safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment.
