As a Field Services Technician, you’ll work hands‑on in the field, supporting construction inspection and contract administration activities that directly impact municipal projects and public spaces.

Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline
Previous experience supporting field services, construction inspection, or municipal infrastructure projects
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and basic contract administration processes
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites
Strong attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping and reporting skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices

Responsibilities

Support field inspections for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, underground utilities, and civil works
Assist with contract administration activities such as quantity tracking, field documentation, and compliance verification
Collect, record, and organize field data, measurements, and daily inspection reports
Collaborate closely with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and municipal clients to support project delivery
Promote safe work practices and adhere to WSP and client health and safety requirements
Contribute to quality assurance by identifying deficiencies and supporting corrective actions
Help ensure projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
