About The Position

Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes to help achieve optimal patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to write legibly and record information accurately as needed to perform job duties.
• Basic computer literacy.

• Training acquired in an approved phlebotomy training program.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections.
• Assesses and maintains the quality of specimens.
• Communicates with patients and customers.
• Assesses specimens.
• Performs urine drug screen collections and industrial screening as required.
• Supports lifelong learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
