The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University is seeking applicants to fill the position of Assistant Teaching Professor in its non-JD online graduate program. This is a benefits-eligible, academic-year (nine month) position with a year-to-year contract. The Assistant Teaching Professor will teach up to eight course offerings per academic year (2-4 courses per semester) in an online environment. As needed, the Assistant Teaching Professor may teach courses in-person. Although the primary responsibility is teaching online, the Assistant Teaching Professor must be located in the Phoenix area and is expected to attend program meetings, events, activities, and collaborate with the Graduate Programs team. The Assistant Teaching Professor may have the opportunity to build and teach new courses. This position will be a non-voting member of the ASU law faculty. Additionally, the Assistant Teaching Professor will support Graduate Programs administration with academic advising and support services for students in the online Master’s degree program, including cultivating academic expectations, promoting student camaraderie, and advancing program excellence.
