The READ Center advances student success and retention by providing reading, learning strategy and college success courses, peer academic coaching, learning strategy workshops, and targeted instructional support. Serving more than 2,000 students annually during the nine-month academic year, the Center offers programs designed to strengthen students’ academic readiness and performance. The Teaching Assistant Professor is primarily responsible for teaching reading and learning strategy courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning. Additional responsibilities include departmental outreach, workshop development and facilitation, and creation of learning support programming to meet diverse student needs‑strategy courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning. Reports to the Director of the READ Center.
