Join a dynamic and growing School dedicated to preparing future health, fitness, and sport professionals. This in-person, nine-month, non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor position, based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, begins in Fall 2027 and provides the opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate students, mentor future practitioners, and collaborate with colleagues in support of academic and professional excellence. We seek a candidate who is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum delivery, program development, and student success across the School's academic programs. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in behavioral lifestyle intervention and be committed to preparing undergraduate and graduate students to promote healthy behavior change and improve health outcomes in diverse populations. The School of Kinesiology and Nutrition serves more than 600 students and includes 27 faculty and staff. With five undergraduate programs, three master's programs, an active doctoral program, and state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities, the School offers a collaborative environment that supports excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
