About The Position

The Department of Mathematics in The University of Tampa's College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education invites applicants for one full-time, non-tenure-track, annually renewable position as Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer for the academic year 2027-28. The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially based private institution of approximately 11,500 undergraduate and graduate students. The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area. Requirements

  • At least a master's degree in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching lower-level courses in Mathematics (Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Finite Mathematics, and Calculus for Business).
