About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and support children’s learning and development. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and building skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. Assistant Teachers complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
