About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher develops interactive learning experiences, supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The role also involves mentoring fellow teachers, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. Candidates must be at least 18, have classroom leadership and lesson-planning experience, meet state education and center requirements, and be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activities with children.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
