Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in a licensed childcare center
- High School diploma required
- Ability to engage with and manage a group of up to 12 preschoolers in a developmentally appropriate manner, patience, flexibility, and desire to play and have fun
- First Aid/CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- CDA, associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) a plus
Responsibilities
- Along with the Lead Teacher, supervise a group of up to 12 children at all times
- Provide positive guidance to help children learn to self-regulate and manage emotions
- Support Lead Teacher in carrying out daily activities
- Assist lead teacher in the daily care routine including diaper changing, helping with potty learning, and serving meals and snacks
