About The Position
Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and learning experiences for children. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and developing skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. The company provides extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. Candidates should be energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children, and able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Assistant Teacher range is $15.91–$16.53. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. The work week is Monday through Friday.
