About The Position
Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care and support children’s learning and development. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and engaging with children. Assistant Teachers develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children and communicate effectively with families. The position includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Participate in training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
- Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
