Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent OR One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of work experience with small children
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated patience and compassion
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children’s behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
- Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
- Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families
